B'J's Bikes and Bits opened in 1976 primarily selling used parts for a range of popular machines with an emphasis on spares for British made bikes.
Bit by bit, over the years new spares replaced the used ones, until today we are one of the largest importers and distributors of spare parts and accessories for British bikes.

In the early years, say 1976 to 1983 and briefly 1986-87 we did sell new Triumphs and Nortons when available. But when those factories ceased production we were left with used bikes only.
Then along came Royal Enfield with an improved product in the mid 1990's and we took on those. They continued to improve with the unit construction, the fuel injected model introduced in 2009.
In 2008, Jon Taylor asked if we would like to look at distributing the new Urals in south east Queensland. As soon as we saw the new machines, we recognised a much improved product that would fill a niche market and in keeping with our theme of Classic machines and a viable alternative to modern Japanese cycles.
We really enjoy the Ural business. They are great fun, Jon gives excellent back up and support and the customers really appreciate something different.
We have very good workshop facilities and no job is too big or too small.
