Hello from Ural Neo
Welcome, we’re glad you’re here!
Sidecars have always been more than motorcycles - they were invitations. To share the road. To talk to strangers. To take the long way home.
Somewhere along the way, the world forgot how good that felt. Motorcycling became a race for speed, technology, and status.
But some of us never stopped wanting something different:
A ride that brings people closer.
A machine that makes the journey feel like part of a story.
A motorcycle that invites, without intimidation.
That’s why we started Ural Neo.
We took the spirit of the original Ural sidecar - the connection, the charm, the sheer fun of it - to create something more suitable for everyday life. Easier to handle. Easier to love. Ready for coffee runs, grocery trips, weekend escapes, and friendly conversations with strangers.
Soon, we’ll introduce our first model: the Ural Neo 500 - a modern, street-friendly sidecar built for a new generation of riders (and a few old guys, too!) And this is only the beginning.
The first production bikes are expected to arrive in the US in June, supporting first customer deliveries shortly thereafter. Deliveries to other markets including Australia will follow as logistics and local requirements are finalised, which is expected to be later this year.
If you believe adventures are better shared, you’re in the right place.
Follow along. Say hello. Join the story.

Let’s Go!
RideApart Review

“Ural's Working On Its First Completely New Motorcycle Since Forever, and I Rode It”
By Janaki Jitchotvisut, July 2025
“If you've never ridden a sidecar motorcycle before, you may not know this. But so many people want to talk to you. They smile, they wave, they yell excitedly across the street at you in traffic. And it's almost never in an angry way. Usually, it's in a very excited way...
… The company invited me out to the Seattle, Washington area to ride the one and only prototype in the US in person, and I'm going to tell you all about the bike right now.”
Engineering Development Complete
15/02/2026
We’re happy to share an important milestone in the Ural Neo journey: the engineering development phase of the Ural Neo 500 is complete, and the final technical specification is now confirmed. This marks the end of a year-long process of the refining the original platform. As Vasilii Khozerov, lead engineer on the Ural Neo project, put it after the last test session, “Everything I rode before was still Yingang’s SUV500. Now, for the first time, I rode the Ural Neo 500. And I really like it”.
What Changed
Many of you have been asking what we actually changed compared to the original platform. The short answer is: a lot. Below is an overview of the key areas we focused on. Technical specifications
The full technical specifications are available through the link below. They’ll give you a clear picture of what the Ural Neo 500 is on paper, but we’ll say this upfront: specs never tell the whole story. The Ural Neo 500 is meant to be experienced. Its balance, steering character, and the way the rig feels at speed are things you only truly understand once you ride it. That’s why demo rides are such a big part of what comes next.
